Screenconnect from main dashboard in Automate 12

Question

We just upgraded to Automate 12 and there are a lot of things we like about it, however we no longer have the ability to right click on a computer in the main control center dashboard and then connect using ConnectWise Control (ScreenConnect). Does anyone know if there is a way to get that feature back or if it was just removed in Automate 12?

If you're running on an older version of the SC Plugin you will not see the button, however the button does exist both in the right click context menu and on the main toolbar of the main CC window. Check for Sol Center updates and make sure both SC and the Plugin are fully updated

The solution center shows everything is current and I also reloaded the solution center to make sure. The icon does show from the computer management window, but not from the right click context menu.

Yea my version is from Pilot but I can't imagine they pulled it, it was one of the most talked about features.

Ok, I was able to fix it by doing the following steps:

  1. Open plugin manager and disable the ConnectWise Control plugins.
  2. Restart the DBagent
  3. Close Control Center
  4. Open Control Center
  5. Open plugin manager and enable the ConnectWse Control plugins.
  6. Restart the DBagent
  7. Close Control Center
  8. Reopen Control Center

A mismatch between the versions of the Control plugin and the Control server itself can also cause this.
